John Mott
Production Designer
John Mott is an accomplished production designer, working in the U.S., and internationally in Europe, Asia and Africa on Feature Films, Television, Documentaries, Commercials and Music Videos. Recent feature credits include BABY O, THE ONE, DRIFTWOOD, and ALONE WITH HER. His network television credits include the post-apocalyptic CBS drama “Jericho” and the Discovery documentary series “Moments in Time” for which he was nominated for an Art Directors Guild award for Excellence In Production Design.
Recently, he was the keynote speaker on Production Design for Digital Capture at the 2008 NAB Show in Las Vegas.
Memberships include the Art Directors Guild (SMPTAD, Local 800), the American Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, and the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA).
Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, John grew up in Sydney, Australia, where he graduated from Sydney University. He lives in Los Angeles.
